Introduce
Mega Man X3, known as Rockman X3 in Japan, and often shortened to MMX3, or just X3, is the third game in the Mega Man X series and the last Mega Man X game to appear on Super Nintendo Entertainment System, released in 1995. Like the Mega Man X2, the X3 uses Capcom's custom "Cx4" graphics chip for 3D graphics.
Mega Man X3 takes place in a fantasy future in which the world is inhabited by humans and intelligent robots known as "Reploids". Like their human creators, some Reploids involve themselves in vandalism and are labeled as "Mavericks". After defeating Maverick leader Sigma twice, Mega Man heroes X and Zero must battle a Reploid scientist named Dr. Doppler and his utopian Maverick followers.
