The Pokemon Company and developer Game Freak have revealed new information, videos and images for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, introducing Paldean Journey, Profile App, TM Machine, Picnics, a new pokemon called Pokemon Farigiraf.

Create the Perfect Profile!
The Profile App is where you can see what you've achieved on your adventure, such as how many badges you've collected, how far you've completed the Pokedex, and even the number of sandwich recipes you have discovered!
It also shows the Pokemon you're currently with, and you can also set a profile picture using the right combination of outfit, hairstyle, pose, and filter! Try creating a unique profile of “you”!
By selecting Hide Info from your Adventure Records, you can view your entire profile picture.
Introducing the TM Machine, a handy device that can generate TMs!
A Technical Machine (or TM for short) is a tool that allows Pokemon to learn new moves. In this game, there is a piece of equipment installed at each Pokemon Center called the TM Machine, which allows Trainers to create their own TM.
TMs can be created using League Points (LP for short) and materials dropped by wild Pokemon after battle. LP can be obtained as you expand the story or by trading Materials from Pokemon. Find the moves you want your Pokemon to learn at the TM Machine and try creating a TM!
The selection of TMs available for you to make increases as you continue your adventure. A single TM can only be used once, but if you have enough LP and the right materials from your Pokemon, you can craft as many as you want using the TM Machine. Think carefully about the moves you want your Pokemon to learn to expand your strategic arsenal.
Picnics
You can have a picnic almost anywhere when out exploring the vast wilderness of the region. Picnics allow you to spend leisure time with your Pokemon, and you can change the design of your tablecloths, mugs, water bottles, and other picnic items to create arrangements to your liking.
When you set out on a picnic, the Pokemon in your party, as well as the Legendary Pokemon you're with — Koraidon or Miraidon — will come out and gather around.
You can choose your favorite filters and take pictures during picnics or while exploring. Filters are a great way to add a trendy flair to your photos.
Decide what kind of Sandwich you will make!
You can make all kinds of bread in a picnic. Before you start making sandwiches, you'll choose the fillings and seasonings you want to use, as well as choose the type of sandwich that will help keep it all together! Once you're ready, you'll arrange the ingredients on the bread, stacking them carefully. If you don't balance them properly, you could accidentally cause your ingredients to tip over or fall out of the bread entirely. However, arrange them skillfully and you can create a culinary masterpiece!
When your Pokemon eats bread, not only will their HP be restored, but the meal can have some beneficial effects on your adventure! Try making all kinds of bread in every way — mix ingredients for unique flavors, try to create something eye-catching, or simply use as many ingredients as possible and stack them as much as possible. The higher the better!
Become great friends with lots of Pokemon!
During a picnic, your Pokemon will spend as much time as they like. You can talk to your Pokemon directly or use toys to play with them — spend time together and strengthen your bond! When you have a picnic with your Pokemon, you can also find Pokemon Eggs!
Give your Pokemon a Good Scrub!
In this game, letting your Pokemon go with you or fight can make them dirty. By bathing your Pokemon at a picnic, not only will they be clean, but their HP will be restored and their relationship with you will become stronger.
Your Pokemon can be covered with mud from the roadside, snow from a blizzard, and sand from a sandstorm. In addition to weather phenomena or environmental factors like these, Pokemon can also take damage during battles. Wash your Pokemon with a soapy sponge, rinse with water and bathe them with your diligence.
Picnics become more fun when playing with friends!
You can also enjoy picnics with friends while playing together through Union Circle.
Just approach another player's picnic while you're playing with your friends so you and your Pokemon can join in.
You can take a group photo or make sandwiches with up to 3 other friends, turning a picnic into an even more lively occasion — you can even find a Pokemon Egg when you and your Pokemon go! Friends are playing together!

- The head of the main body and the head on its tail combine!
As a result of its Evolution, the head of its main body and the head from its tail became one. Both of Farigiraf's brains are connected via thick nerves, which increase its psychic energy, and it can emit psychic waves from the antennae on its head. Farigiraf is always concerned about his surroundings and although he can detect danger immediately, sometimes his body can't react as quickly as two brains might think.

Farigiraf's skill, Cud Chew, is a new Ability that first appeared in this game. When a Pokemon with this Ability eats a Berry, it will eat it again at the end of the next turn.
- New Ability: Armor Tail
Farigiraf's ability, Armor Tail, is another new Ability that makes it impossible for opposing Pokemon to use priority moves.
