Publisher Daewon Media Game Lab and developer CRT Games announced that Snow Bros. Special will launch on Nintendo Switch on May 19, 2022. The game will cost $19.99/€14.99 for the digital version and $29.99/€29.99 for the physical version.
Clear River Games will publish both physical and digital versions in Europe, as well as a physical version in North America. Daweon Media Game Lab will publish the digital version in North America and the rest of the world.
The Collector's Edition will also be available through Limited Run Games for $89.99, which includes the following:

Introduce
Snow Bros. is a classic platform game that was first released as an arcade game in 1990 by Toaplan, a Japanese development studio mainly known for their shooting games. Snow Bros. critically acclaimed was later released to a number of consoles and home computers. Popular with players, Snow Bros. created a video game sequel. Snow Bros. gained cult status as a sought-after retro game after being dormant since the 90s.
30 years later, it's time for two heroes Nick and Tom to return to the modern interpretation with the title Snow Bros. Special is coming to Switch in mid-2022. Snow Bros. Special has inherited the cute design and feel from the original arcade version, but has been upgraded to make it more interesting. The game can be played by two players at the same time.
New in Snow Bros. Special is the “Monster Challenge” mode in which you play as monsters. Each monster has its own special moves and controls, which will change the way you play the game. Monster Challenge is included with the physical version and is available as a separate downloadable content for the download version.
Story
One day, the peaceful country Snow Land was suddenly invaded by King Artich of King Artich of Kingdom Hotteda Kingdom! Snow Land's twin princes, Nick and Tom, try to stop him, but are in turn turned into a snowman by King Artich's curse. The twin princesses, Puripuri and Puchipuchi are kidnapped and the Snow Land begins to melt and disappear. Nick and Tom embark on a long journey to regain peace in Snow Land, rescue the princesses and lift the curse.
