The publisher of Athlon Games and SNK has delayed the release date of the international version of game Samurai Shodown for Nintendo Switch from Q4 2019 to Q1 2020.
Like the Japanese release, the Switch version of Samurai Shodown will include Samurai Shodown! 2 as a reward for pre-ordering games in western countries. This is the first port of the game since its first release on Neo Geo Pocket in 1999, and it supports both tabletop and handheld modes.
In Japan, Samurai Shodown will be released for Switch on December 12.
Samurai Shodown first debuted for Sony PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 25. The version for Stadia will be released on November 19. The PC version has also been announced for release alongside the Switch version. in Q4 2019, but there's no more info yet.
