The official Japanese website provides the following details:

  • Eighth Playable Character Fuse Added - A story for the new protagonist Fuse has been added. This can be unlocked by ending the stories of the other 7 main characters. The story is played by SaGa series general manager Akitoshi Kawazu and game novelist / writer Benny Matsuyama, with new music by composer Kenji Ito. Fuse is a member of IRPO, organizations of Regions to maintain public order. His real name is Lostar, but he has been given the nickname "Crazy Fuse" because of the way he loses control when he loses his temper. Although known for his questionable behavior, but he has a high sense of responsibility as a patrolman and a natural awareness, assertiveness has helped him have a high crime arrest rate. Even today, he is investigating incidents all over the Regions.
  • Missing Events Implemented - There are some events in Asellus's story that weren't implemented in the original release. By deploying those events, you can enjoy Asellus's story to the fullest extent.
  • Remastered with Beautiful Graphics and Useful Features - The game's visuals have remained unchanged, but the graphics quality has been enhanced. Characters, wallpapers and monsters are all made in high resolution, and menus have been improved to be more player-friendly. Advanced features like doubling the game speed have also been added.
