Capcom has announced a remake of Resident Evil 4 for Sony PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. The game will launch on March 24, 2023. Content for PlayStation VR2 is also in development.

Resident Evil 4 is a remake of the original Resident Evil 4 released in 2005. Reawakened in 2023, Resident Evil 4 retains the essence of the original while using Capcom's proprietary RE Engine to deliver Modern gameplay, reimagined storyline and vividly detailed graphics.
As the game that set the standard for the later Resident Evil series, the original Resident Evil 4 introduced a third-person camera to the series, having shipped more than 125 million units worldwide since the first installment released in 2014. 1996. This new perspective takes the player into the action and horrors that protagonist Leon S. Kennedy encounters during his daring rescue mission.
Resident Evil 4 joins Leon S. Kennedy 6 years after his hellish experiences in the biological disaster in Raccoon City.
