Capcom announced that it will release the Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake and Resident Evil 7 biohazard for Sony PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series in 2022.

All three games will include "advanced features" such as ray tracing, high frame rates and 3D audio. PlayStation 5 versions will also have DualSense support for haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

Users who already own the Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake, or Resident Evil 7 biohazard on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series version at no additional cost. The upgrade patch will also be available for free to PC users.
