Pokemon Unite for Switch will be released on July 21, 2021

The Pokemon Company and developer TiMi Studio Group announced that Pokemon Unite will launch for the Nintendo Switch on July 21, 2021. As previously announced, the iOS and Android versions will launch in September 2021.

Users who log into the Nintendo Switch version of Pokemon Unite before August 31 will receive a Unite license from Zeraora, allowing Trainers to use Pokemon in battle.

Zeraora can close the distance between himself and his opponent in the blink of an eye, like lightning, and deal massive amounts of damage at once. Its Unite Move, Plasma Gale, emits a powerful electric blast that creates a plasma region around the area where the explosion hits.

Pokemon Unite is the first Pokemon game in strategic team combat. Players face off against each other in 5-on-5 team battles. In these battles, players will team up with teammates to defeat wild Pokemon and level up to evolve their own Pokemon. They will need to defeat their opponent's Pokemon while trying to earn more points than the opposing team within the allotted time. Pokemon Unite will start for free, with in-game purchases.
