The Pokemon Company announces New Pokemon Snap will release on Nintendo Switch on April 30, 2021.
New Pokemon Snap will be a fun twist on the Pokemon adventure, with its enchanting gameplay allowing players to see some of their favorite Pokemon from a different perspective. New Pokemon Snap is an interesting addition to the list of powerful Pokemon available on Nintendo Switch.

In New Pokemon Snap, players will take on the role of a budding Pokemon photographer and work with the Lental specialist, Professor Mirror, and his assistant, Rita, on an ecological survey to take pictures. Pokemon thrive in the wild.
Wild Pokemon are everywhere and have adapted to thrive in all the different natural regions of the Lental region. They can be seen living in patrol groups on their territory, wandering peacefully alone or even playing with other Pokémon species. With the keen eye and keen adventure of a photographer, you'll be able to spot Pokemon lurking everywhere, including hiding places ... and sometimes suddenly falling from the sky! Players will be able to interact with Pokemon by throwing Fluffruit, a delicious fruit found in the area, to grab their attention or watch them eat. You can even use this fruit to help entice Pokemon into various situations to see how they react. These accidental opportunities present a special challenge, and capturing them with your camera at the perfect timing can help you achieve higher scores.
Professor Mirror will evaluate and score the player's photos taken during their adventure. Pokemon photography is judged based on the subject's posture, their size, how they are directly facing the camera, and where they fall in the frame. As players take more photos and complete research on their journeys, they can see the Pokemon's face and function in entirely new ways. Players will have to take multiple photos and use the ones with the highest scores to fill in Photodex, a Pokemon photo collection.
At first, the untouched depths of the Lental area sounded difficult, but don't worry. Adventurers will jump into NEO-ONE, an autonomous vehicle, that will take them through different paths on each island and will help free up time to focus on taking perfect photos. During your quests, you may even see Pokemon look and behave more differently than ever. These special moments are memories worth capturing, so luckily you'll always have a reliable camera on hand to record them for Pokemon progeny.
Some Pokemon and vegetation that the player may spot will have a special glow. These bizarre events are found only in the Lental region and are called the Illumina Phenomenon. Enter NEO-ONE and uncover the mystery behind Illumina Phenomenon!
