New Visuals
Characters
Sephiroth (voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa in Japanese)
Sephiroth is famous as the first member of the elite SOLDIER Shinra unit. His brave efforts in the fight with Wutai turned him into a hero and he inspired many brave young men to join SOLDIER.
Sephiroth is said to have died in a secret mission, but there may be many unknown stories behind.
Shinra Electric Power Company
President Shinra (voiced by Genzou Wakayama in Japanese)
The current president of Shinra Electric Power Company has grown from a small arms manufacturer into a powerful corporation as it is today.
He is generous with his allies, but when it comes to business, he's completely cruel. He is willing to use tight business tactics to make a profit and eliminate anyone who interferes.
Heidegger (voiced by Katsumi Chou in Japanese)
In addition to being the director of Public Security, Heidegger is also the right-hand man of President Shinra, since the company's founding days. He is as cruel as his boss, and will do anything to get what he wants, even sacrificing his subordinates.
He is trusted by President, and this has made Public Security the most powerful division in Shinra.
Roche (voiced by Kenta Miyake in Japanese)
A rebel belonging to SOLDIER 3-C, also known as Speed Demon.
He loves motorcycles, speed and anyone who can give him a challenge. However, his teammates find him uncomfortable.
Battle Introduction: Aerith
The following images show how Aerith fights. Just pressing the square button will make her start a ranged magic attack.
By clicking on the square repeatedly or holding the button, consecutive attacks can be launched. Additionally, the number of hit targets will increase and attacks will cover a wider area.
Unique Abilities
By pressing the Triangle button, Aerith will unleash her special skill - "Tempest". You can also accumulate attack power by holding the Triangle button, when at maximum, it will explode continuously after attacking the enemy.
"Soul Drain" allows Aerith to absorb MP from enemies. Since she specializes in magic attacks, using this skill will be a necessity in difficult battles.
"Lustrous Shield" allows Aerith to summon a magical barrier, which will keep enemies away and block attacks. Moreover, any attacker who comes in contact with the fence will take damage.
Summons
Final Fantasy VII Remake characters can use Summon Materia, allowing them to summon an extremely powerful ally into battle.
Shiva
Known as the Queen of Ice Shiva. This icy silhouette brings ice to the enemy and a smile of love to allies. She skates around the battlefield, and controls the air to freeze enemies in the blink of an eye.
After being summoned, Shiva will fight automatically, but you can also order her to use specific skills. "Heavenly Strike" creates a huge glacier and smashes it down on an opponent!
The summon is dominated by an energy bar, when it is empty the summon will disappear, but right before leaving, the summon will use a particularly powerful skill.
In Shiva's case, it's "Diamond Dust", a skill from the original Final Fantasy VII. Shiva surrounded the enemies in the ice and then destroyed them spectacularly:
New Story Episodes
Final Fantasy VII Remake has taken many positions from the original version, designing and reinterpreting them in depth.
The story is also more detailed, with more conversations, a series of stories and more portraits about the lives of the villagers.
The Train Graveyard
Train Graveyard is a perfect example of this. Originally used during the construction of Midgar, the area became a dumping ground for old and abandoned trains. Strong winds made rusty cars creak and whine, and strange high-pitched sounds echoed throughout the area.
You can remember this location from the original Final Fantasy VII version. In the original version, there was no dialogue here, but in Final Fantasy VII Remake, the characters will talk to each other as they explore the area.
The remake also adds a new story to the area, with many event scenes:

The Shinra Building
Take a look at another area of the game. The headquarters of Shinra Electric Power Company is a 70-story skyscraper in the heart of Midgar.
On the higher floors, you'll find the offices of President Shinra and the directors, and at Memorial Floor, where you can learn all about Shinra's history. Alternatively, head to Visual Entertainment Hall, where you can see the latest technology being demonstrated.
Of course, the first thing you will see is the extended entrance:
Inside the building, you can see a number of Shinra cars on display:
Or you can go to the Relaxation Floor to relax
Final Fantasy VII Remake is expected to launch for Sony PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020.
