The publisher Deep Silver and 4A Games announced that Metro Redux will be released on Nintendo Switch on February 28.
The collection, including Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux, was first released for Sony PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in August 2014.
Here is an overview of the collection, through Deep Silver:
The critically acclaimed Metro Redux story has been released on Nintendo Switch. Immerse yourself in the post-apocalyptic world of the Moscow subway as you, Artyom, fight to save the besieged station from everything at stake. Experience the events that happened before Metro Exodus and first experience the epic story on the Switch.
Developed internally by 4A Games, the Metro Redux version of the Switch will contain both games and downloadable content.
In 2013, the world was ravaged by an apocalyptic event, destroying almost all of humanity and turning the surface of the earth into a wasteland. A few survivors have taken refuge in Moscow underground and the civilization of humans entered the Dark Age period.
In 2033, a whole generation was born and raised underground, and Metro Station-Cities was besieged, people struggling to survive with the sudden horrors waiting outside.
You are Artyom, born in the last days before the fire, but raised underground. Never venturing beyond city limits, a fateful event takes you on a mission to explore the heart of the Metro system, to warn humanity of a terrible imminent threat.
Instead of standing together, Metro's factions joined in the struggle for supremacy, a doomsday device from the D6 military vault. A stirring civil war can wipe humanity off the surface of the earth forever.
