Rideon Japan has announced Mercenaries Rebirth: Call of the Wild Lynx for Sony PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game will launch on October 14, 2021 in Japan for 2,200 yen.

Introduce
Mercenaries Rebirth is a tactical simulation RPG set in a fantasy world.
Highly strategic battles take place on an isobaric map with elevation differences, with different battle outcomes and assist effects based on the character's location.
Skill points earned in battle can be used to learn and upgrade skills, change classes, and more, allowing for a high degree of freedom in character development.
The character design is by Shunsuke Makimura, whose beautifully illustrated design is depicted with full of emotion.
Key Features
- Rebirth Exceed – Activate “Rebirth Exceed” by consuming the built-in energy in the gauge at the top right of the screen as you fight and defend. Each character's Rebirth Exceed has a unique effect, such as dealing massive damage to enemies or healing all party members who are no longer able to fight. How you use Rebirth Exceed is the key to victory!
- Smooth Character Animations – Pixel-in-battle character animations are smoothly animated with parts-based animations. The human and monster characters are animated like never before.
- 3D Battle Maps – With a 3D model-based battle map, you can change the camera angle at will during your turn. You can also spot hidden items by changing the angle!
- A Full Suite of Options – In the options, you can enable or disable the grid display of the 3D battle map, or use convenient elements, such as “Simplified Skill Scenes” and “Accelerated Movement Scenes”.
