In Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, players can not only access Pokemon Box in many different towns, but also when traveling on the road or exploring the grass! Players can swap Pokemon in and out of their team whenever they want, so try experimenting with all sorts of different Pokemon.

Note that there are several locations, such as areas where missions are being performed or Pokemon Gyms are participating, players will not be able to access Pokemon Box.

Autosave

The save game feature has always been a part of the adventure in Pokemon, but now, there is another function, which is automatically saving the game! This function will automatically save the game during the adventure at various points, such as when entering a town or building.

This function automatically turns on at the beginning of the adventure, but the player can turn it off if he wants to have more control over saving the game by going to the Options menu and then choosing how the player wants to save the game. Even when it is in auto-on mode, the player can save the game manually.

- A notification will appear in the upper right corner of the screen when the game is automatically saved.

If a Pokemon received by the player in the trade mode cannot place a nickname, then the player will now be able to give that pokemon a nickname but only once by talking to the man behind the counter. left in any Pokemon Center in the Galar region.

Note that, like in previous games, players will not be able to change the name of a Pokemon in trade mode once they have a nickname.

Each Pokemon has a Nature and this Nature will increase the effect faster or slower than the average Pokemon indicators. Using Mint on Pokemon will also change these growth! However, the Nature of Pokemon will not change even if the player uses Mint.

Special Supplements

Nutritious drinks for Pokemon such as Protein or Iron will increase the base points for Pokemon, this will help increase the Pokemon index. Until now, there is a limit to the number of items that can be used on Pokemon. However, in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, players can now maximize Pokemon basic points just by using these items!

If two Pokemon of the same species, the Pokemon with more basic points will grow stronger!

Time to encounter Gigantamax Butterfree and other rare Pokemon

In Max Raid Battles, four Trainers team up to battle a Dynamax Pokemon. But in extremely rare cases, Pokemon Gigantamax may appear instead of Pokemon Dynamax. Typically, the chance of players meeting Pokemon Gigantamax is very small. However, there are specific times when players can encounter certain Gigantamax Pokemon.

From Friday November 15, 2019, until early January 2020, players will most likely encounter Gigantamax Butterfree in Max Raid Battles.

During this time, Pokemon Sword players will also be more likely to encounter Gigantamax Drednaw and Pokemon Shield players will be more likely to meet Gigantamax Corviknight!
