Nintendo announced that it will release stategy turn based RPG Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light for Nintendo Switch via Nintendo eShop on December 4, 2020 for $ 5.99. Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light will only be available for purchase until the end of the 30th anniversary of the Fire Emblem series on March 31, 2021.
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light first debuted for the Famicom in April 1990 in Japan. The Nintendo Switch version marks the first Western release.
Nintendo will also release the "Fire Emblem 30 Anniversary Edition" at select retailers for $ 49.99. Edition will include a luxury art book, copy game box with guide and map, game gamepak with game sleeve and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light digital edition , a Nintendo Power mini collection and a collection box.
