Pocky & Rocky is a 1992 multidimensional scrolling video game developed by Natsume for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. This is the sequel to the 1986 arcade game KiKi KaiKai developed by Taito. Pocky & Rocky follows the adventures of a young Shinto girl named Pocky and her new companion, Rocky the tanuki as they try to save a group of creatures called the Nopino Elves. The game takes place from a top-down perspective and has both a single-player and cooperative mode. The game was generally well-received by critics and the sequel followed in 1994, Pocky & Rocky 2.
Pocky & Rocky is a scrolling shooting video game that takes place from a top-down perspective. The screen can move horizontally or vertically and the player-controlled characters can move in eight directions. The game has six levels and allows the player to continue indefinitely.
