Square Enix has announced Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition for Sony PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam). The game will launch digital version on April 7, 2022.

Players will embark on an epic adventure that transcends time and space, featuring exquisite illustrations from the original character designer, Nobuteru Yuuki, and a remake of music from renowned composer, Yasunori Mitsuda and a bunch of extras.
Chrono Cross, which was never released in Europe, returns as a remaster in Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition. Follow the story of Serge, who stumbles across another world and learns the connection between his existence and the future of his planet. A classic time-bending story of adventure and friendship, featuring the largest and most diverse cast of characters in any RPG. With over 40 potential party members, each character brings their own elemental affinity and unique skills. Additionally, Radical Dreamers: Le Trésor Interdit, a text-based adventure video game released for Satellaview in 1996 that formed the basis of the story, is also included in this release.
Players can look forward to some exciting new features, such as:
- The 3D images are converted to high definition*.
- Brand new artwork and character redesign by Nobuteru Yuuki*.
- Background music re-compiled by Yasunori Mitsuda.
- Turn enemy encounters on or off.
- Background filter feature *.
- Combat enhancing features.
- Auto-battle function.
- French, Italian, German and Spanish languages have now been added.
- Switch between pseudo-pixel fonts and high definition fonts*.
- The inclusion of Radical Dreamers, never released in the West.
- Players can choose between playing with original graphics or updated graphics. *
