Developer Aiming announced the Nintendo Switch version of the fantasy role-playing game Caravan Stories will release for free on March 18, 2021 in Japan.

Caravan Stories for Switch uses a cloud game system, allowing users to play "with nice graphics" without downloading large amounts of data as long as they have the Switch and a stable network environment.

Caravan Stories is available now for Sony PlayStation 4, PC, iOS and Android in Japan and Sony PlayStation 4 in North America. Unlike the official website for the PlayStation 4 version, the Switch version's website doesn't have many language options, suggesting it will only support Japanese. PlayStation 4 version also supports English and Chinese.

Here is an overview of the game:

Enter the vast open world of Iyarr, where adventure awaits everywhere. Choose from 1 of 6 races, each with its own storyline. Build friendships by tame monsters and make friends with other characters. Nearly 300 allies can be recruited.

Recruitment in Caravan Stories promotes strategic combat and prodigious character development, with skill sets and stats changing the way characters fight. Fight evil in groups of up to 6 creatures and allies. Immerse yourself in creepy dungeons and team up with players to conquer fascinating open world raids.

Iyarr is unpredictable. As the sun sets and darkness turns, new monsters appear to threaten the group. As the days die, other creatures join the fight, demanding new approaches and strategies. The time flow system creates a dynamic world where surprising stories can happen at any time.

The Caravan, the exotic flying vehicle, plays an important role. Players can customize the look of their caravans, unlock weapon and armor crafting, create resource generators like gold and crystal pumps, and provide redundancy in battle with uncle and other weapons.
