Developer Cloud M1 has announced the clown-themed 2.5D platform adventure game Ayo the Clown will launch for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on July 28, 2021.
“Ayo will stop at nothing to rescue her beloved dog and as a result create the story of an adventurous clown on the journey,” said Cloud M1 game director Xiu Liang know in a press release.

In this incredible adventure, you will play as Ayo, a clown, in search of her best friend and beloved dog, Bo, who has mysteriously disappeared. Ayo's journey will take him through 8 areas from lush hills, to quirky Water World and all the way to trap-filled Candy Land in search of clues to Bo's whereabouts. Like all fun adventures, you won't be all on your own. Ayo's world is full of friendly people and interesting creatures ready to help, but beware of ferocious enemies who are out to harm you. Collect water balloon, balloon sword, toy hammer, dinosaur, helicopter, tank, everything a healthy clown needs to survive in the great outdoors, as you go on your quest.
Since Ayo isn't the type of clown repeating the same joke over and over, you'll come across a variety of uniquely themed platforms, providing plenty of laughs along the way as you attempt to reunite the clown and the dog . You'll come into contact with bigger-than-life bosses and hordes of enemies that will prove this clown is much tougher than he looks. Using Ayo's skills like wall jumps, slopes, and stomps will show you that he has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. And throughout your journey, be sure to look out for some adorable collectibles: gems, rubber chicken, fart bags.
