Nintendo has released a trailer to introduce Astral Chain, the new action game of Platinum Games for Nintendo Switch designed by Takahisa Taura.

Introduce Astral Chain:
Game content is the fight against the invasion of a special living weapon called the Legion. As a rookie officer in the elite Neuron police force, you and your legion will work together to fight and save humanity.
Game Astral Chain gives players full control over two characters at the same time to take action. Players can switch between each other to save the world.
Astral Chain features character designs by famous comic artist Masakazu Katsura (ZETMAN, Video Girl Ai), and marks the debut of Takahisa Taura (NieR designer: Automata).
Highlights in the game:
- Players can simultaneously control the main character and a special weapon called Legion, building up their own action style by using both characters at the same time.
- There are many Legions in the game, each Legion has different styles and fighting abilities. Players can change tactics between Legions at will in real-time battles.
- Legion's skills can not only be used in battle, but can also be used to solve external puzzles.
- Discover the secret of space called the Astral Plane, the base of the invaders.
Astral Chain will launch for Switch on August 30.
